On March 1, Scentsy will launch an innovative product line extension: an online greeting card store featuring over 150 original cards for you to send out cards to your friends and family. These cards are customizable, SCENTED greeting cards. You (my customers) will now be able to order cards online and have them delivered to your recipients’ addresses without buying stamps or going to the post office.

You can personalize cards with a customized message, your favorite photo, a digital signature, AND a scent sample from the Scentsy Favorites collection. That’s right–each card will be mailed with a sample infused with Scentsy fragrance, allowing the recipient to experience Scentsy as soon as they open the envelope.

There are cards for every occasion, from birthday cards and anniversary cards, to holiday cards and birth announcements, even partiy invitations. My kids are excited because this means they no longer need to send handwritten cards because they can have their signatures on file. I really like that I can upload photos right into the card and it’s quick and easy. Send out cards to those you love and care about. Cards can be ordered through a special link from my website (On March 1). Scentsy Greeting Cards are purchased with credits, which are available in bundles of 10, 25, or 100. One Scentsy card equals one credit, and includes postage. Each card costs $2.85 (USD) / $3.82 (CAD).

Happy New Year everyone!! I think that I have decided that I am too busy to keep up two blogs! I have one here for my photography and one for my Scentsy business. So I'm hoping that this weekend I can get the two combined:). But for now I wanted to share what I have been up to.... This little girl turned 8 a few months ago and on January 7th she was baptised into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was a wonderful day and celebrated by lots of family and friends. These were the first baptism pictures I have done and LOVED it! A special day deserves some SPECIAL pictures! So I'm working up a great deal if you have someone special turning EIGHT and wanting Baptism pictures done. Stay tuned for that!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day! I am so behind on this blogging stuff but the count down is on and in 2 weeks I will be done with "one" of my jobs for a couple months so I am hoping during that time I can get caught up. But I did want to share a few pictures from Mother's Day. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful Mom, she is so amazing, beautiful and so loving. And I couldn't have been blessed with a better Mother in Law!! I love these ladies so much and am so blessed to have them in my life. And I can't leave out the sweet little girl that made ME a Mom. Last night I had dinner with this bunch of amazing ladies. I love the amazing friendships that have grown from a little school where we all worked in Springville and met and became friends. We have all went our ways, moving on to different schools, and one moving to China however our friendships have stayed and grown. These ladies are so important to me and I enjoy the times we share together. Never a dull moment and always lots of laughter. Lorie thanks again for hosting and sharing your beautiful home with us. Disposable Cameras in honor of a precious little girl

Over the past few months I have been following a blog about a young family who lost their 18 month old daughter due to a terrible accident. This family has touched me in so many ways with their faith and courage to go on with life and help others through their hurt. Their little girls birthday is coming up in Dec. and they have decide to put together some baskets for families at PCMC (read post below to hear more on this). One thing they want in the baskets are disposable cameras. Being a photographer I know the importance of a picture. So I have decided to collect as many disposable cameras from as many photographers (and anyone else who would like to help). So I am asking you all to re post this to all the photographers you know and see how many we can collect. I would like to end this on November 19. If you know me you know I LOVE to have family pictures taken. At least once a month we have some sort of a family picture taken. I love to see us change, well mostly Graycee. But once a year I have an official family photo taken. My sweet friend (a great photographer) Rayni came and took our pictures. I had some pretty specific pictures I wanted for the house and she did a great job. I have some large photos hanging in the house and I LOVE them. I can't imagine not wanting a big family picture hanging up!!

As I was out walking tonight with my little girl I realized SPRING really is here. It is so beautiful out right now. The grass is so green, lots of new baby animals and the air is so fresh and clean...makes me want to get out there and snap some pictures, so I say lets do it!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am loving this picture of Graycee, I have a few others as well but they aren't quite ready!! Hopefully soon:) I am thinking this will be a great 16X20 for my new house. I haven't made it official until today, we have sold our home. We put it up for sale on January 4th and on February 5th the house sold. WOW that was fast, we were very surprised. We have just out grown the home we are in now, and it's time for something a little better than our small starter home. We will be closing on March 5th and moving in with my wonderful inlaws until we have a new home found. Our plans right now are to build in Santaquin. We are very excited and hope that this will be the start of a new chapter for our family.

I am so excited for my big opportunity of being the photographer for the Cowboy Poets of Utah tomorrow. What a great opportunity this will be for me. I am so excited to meet some wonderful and very talented people at this. Saddle up, muchachos, it's time for the rip-snortin'est poetry jam this side of the Rio Grande.

The Cowboy Poets of Utah are gathering for the inaugural CPU Symposium Saturday in Salem. The rough 'n' tumble bards will spend the afternoon planning for the coming year, inducting new leadership, workshopping, and, of course, waxing poetic about cattle drives, lariats and rawhide.

CPU is an association of artisans -- poets, storytellers and musicians -- who live and breathe western motif.

"This organization is for Utah cowboy poets, cowboy poets who like Utah, cowboys who like poets, Utahns who like cowboys, and cowboys who like Utah," the CPU homepage says. Members and non-members alike are invited to attend.

With an active roster that stretches from California to Iowa, CPU is essentially a network for recreational/semi-professional entertainers, some of whom travel the country performing. Most have some kind of ranching background.

"It's western, not country-western," cattle/sheepherder-by-day, CPU-board-chairman-by-night Pail Bliss said of the genre. "It's more or less handed-down type stuff, like oral tradition. It has to tell a story." (Think, "A Boy Named Sue" by Johnny Cash, not "A Midsummer Night's Dream.")

"Me and my wife tailed 100 head of horses to Kanab, and I wrote about it and got it on a CD called 'Cowboy Poetry in Motion,' " Bliss said. "We write about ranch work, roping, doctoring and castrating calves ... about a cow chasing them through the pasture, or about grandpa's hat, or milking the cow, or riding through the mountains with grandpa and son."

During the symposium, sixteen CPU acts will be recording an album, to be released during Cowboy Week in March. A professional photographer and editor will also be on hand to help budding performers perfect their portfolios to obtain future gigs.

Outgoing CPU president C.R. Wood is excited to see so many priceless stories handed down and recorded. It was during a trip to Elko, Nev., in 1993 that he realized that his personal history, including the memories of his great horseman father, would be lost unless someone put them on paper.

"In 15 years I've probably written 90 pieces, most of them really bad," he said. "The trick is to write a lot of stuff that is really bad; it's like the monkeys at the typewriters: sooner or later every doughhead is going to write a good one."

CPU has more than 150 members on the books, and around 50 year-to-year active participants, Wood said. Poet Rod Miller, a Goshen native, will provide a workshop on writing, while Brian Arnold, a member of the cowboy band "Saddle Strings," will teach a class on stage etiquette.

First of all I must start out this new year with a huge THANK YOU to you all for your support. Last year was a great year for me and my business. Today me and my husband celebrated our 10th Anniversary! What a great day it has been. I am so thankful for my wonderful husband, for the way he loves me and for the wonderful partner that he is. Yesterday my baby graduated from Preschool. I have heard ladies talk in the past about how hard that day is, so true! Just the thought of her being all finished with preschool and entering "the big school" scares me to death and brings a tear to my eye. It was so cute to see her preschool teacher cry,she has become such a big part of Graycee's life and trust me Graycee will miss her just as much. So for me this is an end to a chapter, the beginning of something wonderful. I get to now watch my little girl spread her wings and fly into new adventures some bad some good but all these things will help her become a wonderful person and deep down I can't wait! So here's to the next chapter!

My little Valentine

I love this holiday..in fact it is my favorite! A couple weeks ago we were driving through Salem and seen the cutest place for some Valentine pictures, so yesterday I went and took some of "G" added a little vintage and here is the final picture!! I am so excited about these cute Valentine pictures!

To me you can never have enough photos-ex specially of Great Grandparents and Grandparents. Lots of laughter and love were shared this day. I think people think you should only hire a photographer for a nice posed family picture..not true! It is these little moments that matter even more. Christmas parties, family reunions, any type of family get together is a perfect time for a photographer to capture special moments. Grandma-We love you!

My Grandma passed away a week ago today at the age of 88. She passed away like everyone hopes too-peacefully, not sick, no complications..just ready to go home. Unfortunately it came as a huge surprise. How I miss her already. She was beautiful and had such pretty red hair. She had such a love for life and her family. Her and Graycee had a strong bond, the loved tea parties and Wendy's. Graycee has always called her Grandma Cuckoo...Grandma has a cuckoo clock at her house and Graycee "LOVES" to watch the bird come out..so now Grandma Johnson is known as Grandma Cuckoo. We will miss her so much, each and every day-but she has left such a mark on everyone that she will live on forever in our hearts. Grandma until we meet again "I LOVE YOU!"

Here are some pictures from Grandma's funeral. She LOVED roses, so we all went to her house and picked her roses to place on her grave. So the ones of her GreatGrandkids I have removed all the color except on "Grandma's" roses! I am LOVING how they are turning out!

I had a hard time trying to decide what pictures I wanted to show on this post...we got a lot of cute ones. This is my brother and is family, such a cute family! I loved the colors they chose, I think they added so much to the picture. We had a lot of fun, shot some different poses and ended up with some wonderful pictures for them.

Life is simply a miracle! This is my cousins brand new little girl, MaLayni. She is 9 days old in these pictures. She was so fun to photograph, capturing the innocence of new life and all the wonders of it. What a precious little girl.
